School Bus Crash: 23-Year-Old Killed, Second Driver Injured In Capital Region Collision One driver was killed and another was injured in a crash involving a school bus in the region. Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called at around 7:15 a.m. Monday, May 22, with reports of a three-vehicle wreck in the town of Stillwater, on State Route 67. Investigators determined that a Chevrolet Cobalt was heading eastbound on SR 67 when it crossed into the westbound lane near George Thompson Road, striking a Mechanicville Central School bus head on. Seen Them? Pair Of Long Island Teens Go Missing Police are investigating the disappearance of two Long Island teenagers who were last seen together. Brittany Villatoro, age 16, and Angelina Smith, age 13, were last seen at around 5:45 p.m. Sunday, May 21, on Stony Brook Road in Stony Brook, according to Suffolk County Police. Villatoro is described as being 5-foot-2-inches and 144 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Smith is 5-foot-5 and 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Update: Man Who Took Photos Of Kids, Staff At Long Island Gymnastics Center Nabbed, Police Say Police have arrested a wanted man accused of taking pictures of children and employees at a Long Island gymnastics center without their permission. Robert Colyvas, age 29, was arrested at his Kings Park home on Tuesday night, May 16, Suffolk County Police said. Hochul's Favorability Rating Negative For First Time; Strong Majority Says 'Hard Working': Poll For the first time since taking office, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s favorability rating is in the negative, new polling finds. Among registered voters, 45 percent hold an unfavorable view of the 64-year-old Democrat, compared to 40 percent who view her favorability, according to a newly-released Siena College poll. In March 2023, voters were split evenly 43 to 43 percent. Hochul’s job approval rating also appears to have taken a hit, sliding to 50-44 percent from 52-41 percent in March, according to pollsters. Duo Who Sold Fentanyl Leading To Womens' Overdose Deaths On Long Island Sentenced To Prison A pair of drug dealers will spend years behind bars for selling fentanyl to two Long Island women who later died from overdoses.
