Man Accused Of Shooting Capital District Woman Through Window Arrested Police say they've nabbed the man suspected of shooting a 60-year-old Albany woman through her own window. Raheem Hines, age 44, of Albany, was arrested Monday, May 16, according to authorities. Investigators said at the time of his arrest Hines had a loaded 9mm handgun, Albany Police said. His capture came nearly a week after the victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound to her abdomen inside her home on Partridge Street near Madison Avenue. The break-in happened at the Winemasters on Montauk Highway in West Babylon, according to Suffolk County police. At around 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, May 4,  the suspect used the axe to pry open the front doors and help himself to an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. Troopers stopped Matthew Solivan, of Queens, on the Northern State Parkway in Hempstead Wednesday, May 11, according to New York State Police. During the stop, troopers discovered that he had an illegal handgun with 10 hollow point rounds, police said. Solivan was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.
