Chipotle Opening New White Plains Location Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening a new Westchester location.The eatery, famous for its burritos and bowls, will launch its second restaurant in White Plains on Thursday, Dec. 7. The new restaurant is in front of the Crossroads Shopping Center at 405 Tarrytown Road. Chipotle's other White Plains location is at 250 Main Street in White Plains. The restaurant will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. In Westchester, Chipotle has locations in Rye Brook, Yonkers, and Pelham.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken at 189 South Highland Ave. in Ossining has closed, leaving the fast-food chain with just one store in Northern Westchester - at the Beach Shopping Center in Peekskill. (Its Yorktown location had previously closed.) Inside the Ossining restaurant, the lights are off and the chairs are stacked up with a sign that says CLOSED on the front door. Tony Avella (D-Queens) has been critical of the state's Department of Environmental Conservation plans to control the mute swan population. In 2016, Gov.
