Whole Foods Employee Assaults, Drags Person Outside Darien Store, Police Say A Whole Foods employee in Connecticut has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a person outside the store. The Fairfield County incident happened in July 2023 in Darien, at the Whole Foods store located on Ledge Road. According to Darien Police, the victim met 42-year-old Eric Brand in the store’s parking lot on Sunday, July 2, and asked him for money. The two got into an argument that turned physical, police said. That’s when Brand allegedly assaulted the victim and then dragged them along the ground. Capital Region Man Caught With Stolen RV From Dealership, Police Say A man from the region is facing charges after police linked him to a stolen RV that was taken from a local dealership. Saratoga County resident Andrew Castle, age 50, of Mechanicville, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 26, by New York State Police. According to troopers, the agency was first contacted on Friday, Aug. 25, about an RV that was missing from a Clifton Park dealership. The vehicle, valued at over $50,000, was later found in Schaghticoke in Rensselaer County. Investigators determined that Castle was in possession of it. Early-Morning Thief Nabs Work Truck From Long Island Municipal Building Police are investigating the early-morning theft of a work truck from a Long Island municipal building. The incident happened at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, in Riverhead, at the Riverhead Water District Garage located on Pulaski Street. According to Riverhead Town Police, someone broke into the building before making off with a 2002 white Chevrolet work truck.
