Bridgeport Child Seriously Injured While Playing With Gas, Police Said A child was seriously burned while playing with gasoline along with a group of other kids in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 3:50 p.m., Sunday, April 24, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency management for Bridgeport.
