Man Nabbed For Sexual Abuse Of A Child In Area A man has been arrested following a month-long investigation into the sexual abuse of a child in the Hudson Valley. Herald J. Bodensiek, age 64, of Edison, New Jersey, was arrested on Tuesday, March 8, following the investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. "At this time Mr. Bodensiek is accused of having sexual contact with a child," said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Man Accused Of Threatening To Blow Up Building In Area, Police Say An area man who was mad at his social service caseworker allegedly threatened to blow up a building. Ulster County resident Evan Carlaw, age 47, of Kingston, was arrested on Friday, March 4, and charged with making a terroristic threat and aggravated harassment. Deputies arrested Carlaw after he became upset while speaking with a social service caseworker over the phone and then made threats to blow up the building, the Ulster County Sheriff's Office said.
