ID Released For School Bus Monitor Killed In Hudson Valley Crash Involving Patrol Vehicle The identity of a school bus monitor who was killed in a crash with a New York State Police vehicle in the Hudson Valley has been released. Dutchess County resident Robin P. Alvarez, age 59, of East Fishkill, was killed during the crash that took place around 3:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 on Route 55 and South Cross Road in LaGrange. Police Release New Info On Oceanside Smoke Shop Robbery, Shooting Police have released new info and photos as they seek to identify a suspect who robbed a Long Island smoke shop and shot an employee. The incident took place in Nassau County around 3:20 p.m., Sunday, March 6 at the Da Smoke Spot, in Oceanside. ID Released For Victim Of Fatal House Fire In Area A grandfather who died after saving his two young grandchildren from a raging house fire has been identified by police. Putnam County resident Jintu Zheng, age 65, of Lake Carmel, was found inside the burning home on Scarsdale Road around 10 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, said the Kent Police.
